Position: Bookkeeper / Finance Executive

Location: Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire

Salary: £17,000 – £19,000 depending on hours and experience

Credit & Business Finance are an independent Insurance Broker specialising in Trade Credit Insurance based in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire.

We have a vacancy for a bookkeeper in our Finance team.  Hours are negotiable. Minimum of 27.5 – 37.5 per week but hours must be spread across 5 days.

The role is to control and maintain all business financial and book-keeping information plus support other administrative/office functions. Main duties will include Bought Ledger, Sales Ledger, Invoicing, Payroll Notification, Commissions and Expenses payments, and Management Information production for Budgets and financial reports. Bank reconciliation and banking paperwork will also be a future requirement along with other related tasks.

You must be proficient in the use of Sage, Excel, Word and preferably, but not essential, CRM systems. You will be a competent Bookkeeper with the ability to work on your own initiative and look to improve processes and procedures as the demands of the business alter and grow.
